Before becoming an attorney, Steve worked in the State Attorney General’s Office, Utah Governor’s Office under Governor Huntsman, and in the Office of Congressman Chris Cannon in Washington D.C. Additionally, he traveled to Rome, Italy to briefly work for the world’s largest law firm Baker & McKenzie.

Steve received his Juris Doctorate degree from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark School of Law. While attending law school, he was chosen to participate on BYU’s National Trial Advocacy Team, Moot Court Team, and Law Review. He also received top honors in multiple trial, appellate, and negotiation competitions.
