WE SPECIALIZE IN CRIMINAL DEFENSE AND FAMILY LAW
Our defense attorneys know what they are doing. Our criminal defense lawyers specialize in violent crimes and DUI defense.
We have worked hard to build an excellent reputation with judges and prosecutors so that when we represent you, your case will be taken seriously. We know that criminal cases can have devastating and life-long consequences and we are here to make sure you get the best defense possible.
"Super! 110%! Left no rocks unturned. Steve not only was professional in every aspect, he comes accross as a friend not just to me but to the jury. Just the way he presents things in trial is top notch. A+"
Family law cases can be difficult. Our custody and divorce attorneys have handled hundreds of cases and know what works and what doesn’t. We pride ourselves on knowing when to fight and when to negotiate in order to get you the best result.
Our family law attorneys really care about our clients and work hard to make sure your voice is heard and your interests are always protected.
"I had a long & drawn out court battle dealing with custody, divorce, finances etc. (Milda) is an absolute expert in all areas. Her office staff are truly the most professional I have ever worked with & I have had to work with several attorneys in several fields."
Very few firms know how to do criminal appeals. Even fewer are good at it.
Our lead appellate attorney, Staci Visser, is highly respected by her colleagues and the courts and is praised by her clients. She has a reputation for superior writing and reasoning and has a passion for her work. She has the experience necessary to win civil and family law appeals, but she focuses her practice primarily on criminal appeals.
"I was put on probation and ended up not complying because of severe anxiety and other mental health issues. I went to court yesterday and Justin spoke to the judge about how much I've changed and some of the things I'd accomplished. My case was then terminated."

WE KNOW HOW TO WIN...
Step 1: Building a Foundation
(Before You Call Us)
We have worked hard to build an excellent reputation with judges, commissioners, and prosecutors over more than a decade. So, when your case goes to court, you can be confident your side will be heard and respected.
Step 2: Learning the Case
(When You Contact Us)
We know what type of information will make or break a case. We work with you to gather the information and evidence that will be critical to success and put you in the strongest position possible.
Step 3: Choosing a Strategy
(When You Hire Us)
We use our extensive knowledge and expertise gained from thousands of similar cases to determine which strategy is most likely to get you the result you want.
Step 4: Making it Work
(When We Go to Court)
Once we've decided whether to negotiate your case or push aggressively toward trial, we use our advocacy skills and extensive knowledge of the system to make it happen. We will push until you feel confident you are getting the best result possible.
...AND WE GET RESULTS
State of Utah v. J.C.
Client was charged with DUI but the breathalyzer results were questionable. The prosecutor insisted on jail time, but we fought the case for 18 months until charges were reduced to a non-DUI reckless driving with no jail.
State of Utah v. P.M.
Client was accused and charged with Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault. The prosecutor refused to negotiate or listen to Client's side of the story. After a two-day trial, Client was found not guilty and all charges were dismissed.
S.C. v. C.C.
Husband filed a protective order and divorce against his wife of 11 years while she was in the hospital receiving medical treatment. We petitioned the court for joint legal custody, extended parent-time, alimony, and attorney fees. The court awarded all four.
B.A. v. K.A.
Ex-Wife withheld parent-time from father and inappropriately micromanaged the children's relationship with their father. Our attorney won the court hearing and obtained attorney fees for father because the ex-wife acted maliciously and engaged in improper gate-keeping.
